My female person, I call her Mom, would like to write my introduction. So, here is her story of me.
<------ Have you ever seen anything cuter than this?
Meet Dusty! or her more common name around here is Beautiful, and she is exactly that, Beautiful. Though sometimes she is also called Peanut.
She is 6 years old and the sweetest little girl in the world. She weighs in at a whopping 5 lbs. but don't tell her that, after all in her eyes she is a Great Dane.
Dusty runs the house and the rest of us just do her bidding. She tells Pattie, our parrot, off several times a day for squawking. But runs into the living room when Pattie whistles, looks at me then realizes Pattie did the whistling. Pattie my imitates my whistle that I use to call Dusty. Pattie loves that one and repeats it MANY times a day. Beautiful was on my lap today, as usual, while I played games on the computer. She sits quietly until she hears some inaudible to human ears sound outside. Of course all inaudible sounds require barking at, whether they are birds, bees, cars, people on her street, planes flying over her air space, and her favorite, the neighborhood cats. Then off she goes like a good Great Dane watch dog.
Beautiful loves to go ... anywhere ... as long as she is with us she is happy. She love shopping at Lowes and Home Depot because every one stops to talk to her and pet her. She loves children and is very careful with little ones. It is amazing how many men come and talk to her, and of course like any female she loves that too. She also is a fantastic traveler. She loves her motor home, especially when it is stopped so she can leap into the drivers seat, stand on the steering wheel and look out the window. She will even abandon her bed at night to sleep in the drivers seat. We always thank her in the morning for the lovely ride. She must have a built in GPS because we always end up in the morning exactly where we were when we went to sleep. She love the lake, but her favorite is any lake with ducks. I am sure she will tell you all about the ducks in her life.
Dusty loves to work in the garden and often chooses the flowers that need their pictures taken. This is one of her favorites.
She is an amazing girl. She always has the right answer for every problem presented to her.
I know you will also find her advice special.
Check back next week for her first blog.
